What a correctly formatted IPTV link looks like
There are two normal shapes. An Xtream Codes link (the most common) carries your login in the address:
A plain M3U link points straight at a playlist file:
…and an M3U file must begin with #EXTM3U on the very first line, then pairs of #EXTINF:-1,Channel Name and the stream URL beneath it. Copy yours exactly from your IPTV UK welcome email — no spaces, no quotes.
The mistakes this tool catches

Why won't my M3U playlist or IPTV link load?
The most common reasons are formatting slips rather than the service: a space or line break inside the link, curly smart quotes copied from an email, a missing http:// or port, a missing username or password parameter, or an M3U file that doesn’t start with #EXTM3U on the first line. This validator flags each of those. If the format is clean but it still won’t play, the line may be expired or the subscription inactive.
What does a valid Xtream Codes URL look like?
A correctly formatted Xtream Codes link looks like http://your-server:port/get.php?username=USERNAME&password=PASSWORD&type=m3u_plus&output=ts — with your real server, port, username and password from your welcome email, no spaces and no quotes. type=m3u_plus returns the full line-up with names and logos, and output=ts gives the widest device compatibility.

What an M3U playlist is — and why it stops working
An M3U playlist is the plain-text file that tells your player where each channel’s stream lives. Most IPTV services hand you either a single M3U URL or a set of Xtream Codes — a username, password and server address that the app turns into an M3U for you. When “the playlist won’t load,” the fault is nearly always in that link rather than the channels themselves.
The most common reasons an M3U playlist fails are simple: a copy-paste error that drops or adds a character; using an http:// link on a device that forces https://; a URL that has expired or hit its connection limit because it’s open on too many devices at once; or a provider outage. The validator above checks the format and structure of your link so you can tell a typo apart from a genuine server problem before you contact support.
